Jon Lovitz (innate July 21, 1957) is a comedic actor who has been in several roles in TV and in movies, usually as a supporting character. He was the cast member of Saturday Night Live from 1985 to 1990. He has supplied voice acting talent in many animated series (most notably The Simpsons), including the lead character of Jay Sherman on The Critic, and alive flick. Lovitz' funny persona is an odd mixture of haughtiness & moo self esteem, which was wont to swell symptom within his character "Tommy Flanagan, The Pathological Liar", from Saturday Night Survive. His characters typically begin acting super condescending to individual, merely to prevent higher grovelling for their attention. The most common focus of his characters' fondness is actress Morgan Fairchild.

Lovitz is besides known for his friendly relationship by owning a late Phil Hartman, whom he ended up succeeding on the series NewsRadio after Hartman was killed.

Lovitz attended & exposed theater at a University of California at Irvine and graduated in 1979.
